About  Links
We have some very sad news. After many months of struggling with the lack of volunteers and bad finances, Pogo has been forced to close.

This is not something that has been taken lightly and unfortunately all of our efforts just weren’t enough to save Pogo.

As one last goodbye, Pogo Cafe will be having a Sunday breakfast tomorrow, 1st September, from 11am until 5pm. (Please note there will be no evening nut roast and a much earlier closing time than ‘normal’).

This will be the absolute final open day, where everyone is welcome to say goodbye to Pogo, eat their last Pogo breakfast, and share memories.

If anyone would like to help out, this is your last chance to volunteer - just come along on the day.

Please circulate this far and wide, so everyone has their chance to say goodbye.

See you tomorrow to give Pogo a good send off! :)

…we need to make a distinction between veganism and a plant-based diet. Surely, a completely plant-based diet is a part of being vegan, but veganism represents a larger ideology that defines a commitment to opposing the use and exploitation of animals. Vegans don’t eat animals, but they also don’t wear them, visit places that enslave them, or in any other way participate in the commodification of animals as much as humanly possible.
